The Real Change Framework was applied in two recent projects delivered by PACE; the BASF project, in which PACE was part of the Global Change Consulting team facilitating the people transition in alignment to the business transformation. In another project, PACE designed an entire change transition and change management roadmap to facilitate the integration between two entities under a major company. In both of these projects, when it came to the content enablers, the perceived gap and the desired state were already dealt with. Most important was spreading the change message consistently. The context of change was the most critical part of the two projects. PACE equipped leaders to address emotional responses of the people affected by the change, taught them to be a credible and trustworthy role-model to their people, and inspired them to be a transformational change agent. Coming to the process, communicating the change to each team was essential, leaders were equipped with tool-kits to involve and engage their people, and last but not least, the change initiatives were monitored. Through this multi-level approach, the senior leadership teams, as well as middle management leaders, were equipped with change capabilities to lead the entire organization to achieve desired outcomes.
